New Jersey

We spent a lot of time in New Jersey with Josh's parents. He doesn't get to spend a lot of time with them so we figured now is a great time to do that. Josh spent a lot of the time helping his dad remodel their bathroom. We didn't get to see it finished but it looked really good when we left.

We took one day to go spend with his grandma Inez. She lives in Wall, NJ. She took us to her favorite place to get a sizzling steak sandwich, it was delicious! Here she is with Josh.

We spent the time visiting and showed her our blog. She doesn't have a computer so she was quite excited to see our travels thus far. Here we all are Josh, Inez, Brian, and myself.

Funny thing about Inez is that she doesn't like to turn left while driving. So after we ate she took us to the board walk along the Atlantic Ocean and we had to take rights most of the way there :)

It was beautiful but freezing!! So we stayed out long enough to take some photos then headed back to her house.

Here is Josh and Ben, one of Josh's best friends. We spent a lot of time hanging out with him and his girlfriend Rachel. Lots of Farkle and one very intense game of spades that Josh and I lost. Ben needs to come out to Portland now and visit us!

Here is Kevin, Josh's dad. They are ridiculous. I don't have a lot of photo's of Josh's mom, sorry. We had so much fun staying with them. Lots of whiskey, Yuengling, Farkle, and all the good homemade food!
New Jersey people drive crazy. One hand on the wheel and one on the horn. I've never been honked at so much in my life!

Thank you Kevin and Kathy!! We had so much fun! We wish we could have stayed longer. Come out to Portland soon and come stay with us!
